The proper crush of the transfer brush into the buffer brush is approximately 1/8". This is checked by going to the output menus and turning on the buffer brush. You should be able to see a thin white line between the transfer brush and the buffer brush assembly.
If an adjustment is needed, loosen the four ¼-20 jam nuts on each of the square head bolts and back them away so that the transfer brush can move all the way in and out of the buffer brush assembly.
Loosen the five ¼-20 bolts on the front side that secure the adjustment bar but keep them snug.
Using a ¼” wrench, screw the square headed bolts into the transfer brush to lower. Do this until the Transfer Brush just contacts the Buffer Brush Assembly. Once this happens, turn the screws two complete full turns and tighten the jam nuts.
Tighten the five ¼-20 bolts along with the ¼-20 jam nuts.
