ACCESSING MACHINE SETTINGS
From the home screen, tap the Menu button at the bottom center. This will take you to the Menu buttons. By tapping the SETTINGS button this will show you the 7 settings buttons available.
Tap the MACHINE SETTINGS button and this will take you to the screen that allows you to view various settings.
APPROACH SETTINGS
To fine-tune the movement of the Atlas Walker on the approach, you can adjust the forward, reverse, left and right movements by using the left and right arrows of each adjustment. This ONLY effects the movement when using the MOVE button on the home screen.

APPROACH ADJUSTMENT WHILE CONDITIONING
By turning the Park On Approach feature to the ON position, you will allow the machine to stop on the approach after the conditioning is complete. If in the OFF position the machine will park itself on the lane at the foul line.

DRIVE SETTINGS
With auto speed adjust you can dial in your drive motor to match the correct inches per second or IPS. Tap on menu, Settings then Machine Settings. By tapping on the Drive Settings button, you will see that all 6 speeds are displayed on the screen. By turning on the auto speed feature, the machine will automatically adjust the motor on the pattern that is set to run next.
By leaving this in the ‘on’ position and running in the background, the machine will always stay within the operating perimeters.
To fine-tune each speed you can simply turn off Auto Speed and tap on the number of the speed you wish to adjust and a numeric keypad will pop up.
CLEANING SETTINGS | CLEANER
Tap the CLEANING SETTINGS button.
This will allow you to change certain functions that take place while cleaning the lane. All of these functions can be adjusted by tapping the left or right arrow next to the number. By tapping directly on the number, you will be given a choice of a speed, or a numerical keypad will be displayed.
After making any changes, it will ask you to SAVE or CANCEL any changes prior to exiting this screen. Once you have made your choice and exit, it will take you back to the home screen.
CLEANER SETTINGS | SQUEEGEE
To ensure that all dirty cleaner is removed from the pindeck, there is a squeegee wipe feature. By turning this on, the machine will travel through the pindeck and stop once it has reached the end of the lane. The duster and squeegee will then raise, and the machine will travel in reverse for a set number of inches. The machine will then lower the squeegee once again and travel forward sucking up any remaining dirty cleaner.
Tap the SQUEEGEE SETTINGS button. You can turn on/off the squeegee wipe feature from this screen. You can also change how far forward and how far in reverse the machine will travel.
CLEANER SETTINGS | DUSTER
Remove the cleaner dispensing tip from the cleaner head assembly ensuring that the spring in the cleaner head does not fall out.
After removing the used duster cloth from the lane machine, remove the pipe from the core and insert it into the new one. Unroll about 3 feet of cloth and then install the new roll into its location.
Route the cloth down between the squeegee and the cushion roller. Pull the cloth under the cushion roller and distribute it evenly. Once the cloth is routed under the cushion roller, pull the excess cloth far enough through to get at least 3 or 4 wraps around the PVC take-up reel or EZ Core. Peel the strip off of the empty core and make sure the cloth is wrapped evenly from side to side around the pipe.
Insert the take-up reel into its location and reinstall the cleaner dispensing tip.
Locate the button inside the cleaner compartment on the 10 pin side wall. This button is always enabled to operate the duster unless the cleaner volume is being checked. Press the button once and the duster will unwind, press again and it will wind-up cloth. The cloth should be rolled up tight and evenly across the assembly. Keep it pressed to reset the number of lanes left in the cloth.
Note:
After installing the new roll, you must reset the number of lanes in the cloth menu. Do this by going to your home screen and tap on the roll of cloth located in the bottom right of the screen. The machine settings will be displayed, tap the CLEANING SETTINGS button. At the bottom of the screen you will have a button for CLEANER, SQUEEGEE and DUSTER. Tap the DUSTER button and in the middle of the screen you will have a RESET button. Tap this button and it will prompt you to select OK.
CONDITIONING SETTINGS
By tapping on the TANK button you can select which conditioner is in Tank A and which conditioner is in Tank B. After selecting, a default color is assigned to each type of conditioner and will illuminate the LED for that particular tank.
By tapping the OIL HEAD button, you are able to dial in where the oil head starts and stops dispensing conditioner by using the left and right arrows next to each of the below numbers.
The 2.3 in the below screen display, refers to where the oil head will start dispensing the conditioner. To fine-tune this setting, run a pattern that has a few 2-2's in the loads so that you can see where on the lane where the conditioner is applied.
By tapping on the BUFFER button you can edit the Variable Buffer speeds. It is set to ON by default which will automatically monitor the buffer speeds during conditioning. By turning it off, you can manually change the buffer motor speeds for each speed. It is recommended to keep this on.
PUMP SETTINGS | CONDITIONER
Tap the PUMP SETTINGS button, this will take you to the screen where you can test either the oil pump or the cleaner pump. By tapping the OIL PUMP button, the screen will show the microliters, pump speed, volume for each tank.
Before performing your oil calibration test, you will need to purge the line by removing the oil tip assembly from the oil head and place it in the container used for your oil waste. By tapping either Tank A or Tank B button, the oil head will begin to move back and forth, and the tip will begin dispensing conditioner until the 400 boards test has been completed. Once the first test has been run in your waste container, you can now run the test in your clean graduated cylinder for verification. Do this more than once to verify the output, thoroughly cleaning the cylinder after each test.
If an adjustment is needed, go to the PUMP SPEED line. You can adjust the motor speed up or down by using the left and right arrows for single increments. By tapping directly on the number, it will pop up a numerical keypad that you can directly input a specific motor speed.
PUMP CALIBRATION | CLEANER & WATER
In the event a new Norprene tubing has been replaced in your cleaner pump or water, then a calibration test is needed.
From the home screen, tap the Menu button at the bottom center. This will take you to the menu buttons. By tapping the SETTINGS button this will show you the settings buttons available. Tap the MACHINE SETTINGS button and this will take you to the screen that allows you to test various settings. Tap the PUMP CALIBRATION button, this will take you to the screen where you can test either the oil pump or the cleaner pump. By tapping the CLEANER PUMP button, the screen will show both of the PUMP SPEEDS and VOLUME.
Before performing your cleaner calibration test, you will need to purge the line by removing the cleaner tip assembly from the cleaner head and place it in the container used for your cleaner waste. By tapping the WATER or the CLEANER button, the tip will begin dispensing cleaner or water until the test has been completed. Once the first test has been run in your waste container, you can now run the test in your clean graduated cylinder for verification. Do this more than once to verify the output, thoroughly cleaning the cylinder after each test. You should have the correct volume according to the chart.
If an adjustment is needed, go to the PUMP SPEED line. You can adjust the motor speed up or down by using the left and right arrows for single increments. By tapping directly on the number, it will pop up a numerical keypad that you can directly input a specific motor speed.
